This distance running shoe was inspired by the idea of perpetual motion. The dual-density midsole combines adidas’ soft and lightweight REPITOR foam with its firmer REPETITOR+ foam soft and stable ride. The firmer, more responsive foam in the heel protects and stabilizes the heel.
Forward propulsion is enhanced by the lower heel-to-toe drop (6 mm) and rocker geometry that keeps you going forward, mile after mile. A Continental™ rubber outsole gives you durable traction as you run.
The Adistar features a plush step-in feel with an engineered mesh upper that has an internal support cage to keep your foot locked down and comfortable. The yarn in the upper also contains at least 50% Parley Ocean Plastic and 50% recycled polyester, so you can feel good about wearing it.
