Founded back in 2002, Nike’s dedicated skateboarding line has grown from a small-scale side project into a highly-coveted creative powerhouse. Favoured by both skateboarders and sneakerheads alike, Nike SB is famed for producing the ever-popular Nike SB Dunk. Offering up a repurposed version of the 1985 basketball sneaker that has been optimised for skateboarding, the SB Dunk features increased padding and cushioning throughout the design.
While the SB Dunk may be a great sneaker for skateboarding, it’s also proved incredibly popular with the sneaker community, with plenty of brands choosing to use the silhouette as the blank canvas for collaboration. Due to this, we’ve seen some incredibly limited and rare pairs over the years that can garner thousands of pounds on the resale market. Here at Cheap Novogas Jordan outlet we’ve rounded up the five rarest Dunks of all time, so check out our full list below and let us know which is your favourite!
Supreme x Nike SB Dunk Low (2002)
Launched way back in 2002 when Nike SB had only just begun, the Supreme x Nike SB Dunk Low marked the first time ever that NYC streetwear giants Supreme joined forces with the Swoosh. Back then, Supreme operated out of a single store on Lafayette Street in NYC, with customers discovering drops via word of mouth. Two colourways of this collaborative Dunk launched, both bearing the classic elephant print pattern usually seen on the Air Jordan 3. A total of only 500 pairs were produced, so you’ll be hard pressed to find a pair of these today!
Nike SB Dunk Low "Heineken"
Launched in 2003, the Nike SB Dunk Low “Heineken” was never an official collaboration with the Amsterdam-based beer brand, meaning that it held a certain level of charisma and exclusivity that sneakerheads absolutely loved. Showing off a green, white and red colour scheme, the kicks were launched in limited numbers and remain a grail status pair for many SB Dunk collectors around the world today.
Nike SB Dunk Low "London"
Back in 2004 Nike SB dropped the aptly-titled “City Series” pack of nike air floral for sale in pakistan online, featuring pairs dedicated to New York, Paris and Tokyo. However, by far the most desirable of the pack was the “London” pair, which launched in a grand total of just 202 pairs. Showing off a greyed-out colour scheme that drew influence from the UK capital, the kicks also feature an embroidered outline of the River Thames, creating a seriously cool look that has appealed to sneakerheads far and wide. Whether you’re London-based or not, there’s no denying that these are an epic pair of Dunks!
Nike SB Dunk Low "Freddy Krueger"
Easily one of the rarest nike air floral for sale in pakistan online in existence, the SB Dunk Low “Freddy Krueger” was originally intended to act as a tribute to the Nightmare on Elm Street character, however after the Swoosh was issued a cease and desist from New Line Cinema, the pair was quickly cancelled. With Nike employees ordered to destroy any remaining samples by burning them, only several pairs managed to escape their fiery fate, complete with oil stains. If you’re searching for a pair of these incredibly-rare Dunks then you better have deep pockets, as they regularly sell for above the £10,000 mark.
Diamond Supply Co. x Nike SB Dunk Low "Canary hyperdunk" (F&F)
Diamond Supply Co. has joined forces with Nike SB multiple times over the years, however 2018 saw an ultra-limited pair of “Canary hyperdunk” Dunks launch to the public via a special drop at ComplexCon. The launch allegedly caused a small riot, with security having to remove the pairs from the event. Offering up a vibrant hyperdunk colourway, these are about as rare as SB Dunks can get.
