As a follow up to last year’s futuristic take on the Chuck 70 and Pro Leather, Converse and Ambush present two new takes on classic Chuck AMBUSH, rooted in Wide – a Chuck Taylor All Star Duck Boot and Fuzzy Chuck 70.
Derived from the brand’s utilitarian Wide, the two new AMBUSH juxtapose functionality and irreverence.
The Ambush Chuck Taylor All-Star Duck Boot is constructed for outdoor utility wear, paying homage to Converse’s beginnings as a rubber synod nearly 110 years ago. For its enhanced outsole traction and lift – the team utilized the Lugged outsole as a base and built upwards, playing with proportion to enhance weather-resistance and functionality. Crafted with a woven polyester and rubber upper, its reinforced foam padded ankle collar, poly webbed lace loop, and gusset construction provide optimal utility and is completed with a printed “Ambush” graphic on the heel, co-branded license plate, and printed patch Converse logo.
The Ambush Fuzzy Chuck 70 features a Longwool fuzzy upper and tongue and complete with a debossed patch logo, co-branded sock liner, and co-branded Ambush license plate.
