adidas Originals and Craig Green are proud to announce their second collaborative collection. The shoes debuted at Green’s autumn/winter 2020 show in January, the celebrated British designer’s first held in Paris. The collaboration is a meeting of minds, with ingenuity, function, innovation, and utility at the core of both brands.
This spzl, Green introduces his take on an iconic adidas macy style with the CG SUPERSTAR sneaker. Green reimagines the shoe through one of his archetypal techniques, using quilting to define the classic Superstar design. Line stitching marks out the shoe toe, with these lines extending all the way up the tongue. Meanwhile, the essential 3-Stripes trademark on the side of the shoe is represented by an intensity of contrasting stitching. The result is a new take on the Superstar silhouette, with the craftsmanship and a lightweight functionality heightening the aesthetics of this adidas macy legend. The CG SUPERSTAR style will be available in Off White and Red, or Utility Black with Green.

The collection has been captured in a campaign by Green’s long-term collaborator, Dan Tobin Smith. The creative concept sees shoes from the collection being deconstructed, then turned into anatomical sculptures as if small animals, adding to the family of images created for the first spzl of the collaboration.
