What if the NBA didn’t ban the Reminder for Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT in the Black, Red and White colorway? Technically the NBA banned the Air Ship but still Nike took the campaign and ran with it for the Reminder for Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT which is opposed of the most iconic releases of all time.
The images used are the original Nike Air Jordan 1 Metallic Navy from 1985 Reminder for Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT now cold as ‘Bred’, they featured (and still do) a Black, Red and White color scheme. The NBA had banned the shoes due to not meeting color guidelines and also has stated the colors were reminiscent of the devil. Each game Michael Jordan wore the shoes, he was finned $5,000 per game. Nike would pick up the check and push Jordan to continue to wear them.
