Nike Air Flightposite “Metallic Gold” Returns October 2024

The Nike Air Flightposite “Metallic Gold” is an original color option of the silhouette first released in 1999. Once a performance shoe, now known for lifestyle, the pair will return to retailers on October 30, 2024, for $240.

The Nike Air Flightposite was originally launched in 1999 and worn by hall-of-fame NBA players. One of the original colorways is the “Metallic Gold” Air Flightposite, last seen in 2008, but since then, new color options have dropped. Designed by Eric Avar and inspired by human anatomy, the shoes were worn on-court by Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett. For those who want to add the shoes to their sneaker rotation, a retro release is slated for Holiday 2024.

This Nike Air Flightposite comes dressed in a Metallic Gold, Black, Metallic Silver, and White color combination. Highlighted with a Metallic Gold Foamposite shell that looks Green in areas, depending on how the light reflects. In addition, Black neoprene lands on the upper, and it comes with the signature shroud that can be zipped up or down to expose the lacing system. Other details include Swoosh logos on the tongue and heels, a Metallic Silver carbon fiber plate, and a Black rubber outsole.
