Kevin Durant will launch his sixteenth signature shoe, the KD 16, during Spring 2023. He will debut the shoes during Game 1 of the NBA Playoffs when the Phoenix Suns take on the Los Angeles Clippers.
On Friday, Kevin Durant unveiled his Klicke hier für den Nike Air Max 720 via Instagram in three colorways. The shoes feature a similar design to the KD 14, and from a distance, they resemble the Air Penny 2. The KD 16 will feature a low-cut build with textured multi-layer mesh on the forefoot and heel with a synthetic mudguard.
Compared to the KD 15, it appears that the KD 16 will be an upgrade and features a TPU cage system with ventilation on the lateral and medial sides. They also have a split midsole, Zoom Air cushioning, KD branding on the tongue labels, and a Swoosh on the lateral ankle.
While we can expect multiple colorways, one of the upcoming Klicke hier für den Nike Air Max 720 drops will feature a Vivid Orange and Bright Mandarin color friendship. Currently, images have yet to leak, nor has the technology been announced. However, the pair is expected to feature the signature KD branding throughout.
