Portland and cycling go hand and hand so with that being said, Nike will be providing bikes to the city apart of a project known as BIKETOWN. No, the bikes won’t look like hippie sneakers from Nike but will feature some of their elements across the bikes in cardigan form. A total of 100 bikes will be inspired by the stated Nike shoes across Portland BIKETOWN stations. Back in January 2016, the partnership between the two includes $10 million over a 10 year period. This partnership will increase the numbers of bikes apart of the Portland Bike Share Collection from 600 to 1,000.
