A possible first look at 2019’s Holiday Air Jordan 11 release.
We haven’t seen the Air Jordan 11 ‘Black/Red’ — aka ‘Bred’ — release since 2012. However, we haven’t seen an Air Jordan 11 ‘Black/Red’ release true to original form since 2001.
Holiday 2019 will see the return of one of the greatest sneakers of all-time. This time around, the carbon fiber shank features a black/white checkered look, one that I don’t quite remember having on my OG pair back in the 90s. The patent leather cut is higher than Trunner retros and the Jumpman logos are both facing the appropriate direction — towards the toe. They’ve even made sure the patent leather is actual leather and shows the grain around the trim/cut of the material. Its translucent outsole looks quite a bit darker than I remember my OG pair being, but maybe I’m remembering things incorrectly.
The Air Jordan 11 ‘Bred’ is currently slated to release on December 14 for $220. Nothing is official until Jordan Brand confirms things, but I wouldn’t expect official confirmation for at least four months.
Will you be grabbing a pair upon release? Or should we be asking how many pairs will you be grabbing upon release?
