Today adidas has introduced the latest collection of the adidas Athletics x Reigning Champ partnership in a campaign that features National League MVP Kris Bryant of the Chicago Cubs.
Using cutting edge adidas materials, such as Primeknit, and the craftsmanship Reigning Champ is known for, this new collection is designed to blend style with comfort.
This collection features a variety of athletic wear for both men and women, and is highlighted by adidas Primeknit bombers and pants. This specific type of Primeknit yarn blend is designed not only to be more durable but also much more comfortable. An assortment of crewnecks and zip hoodies, all made from Reigning Champ’s iconic heavyweight French terry fabric, round out the collection.
On top of being the face of this new collection, Kris Bryant will also be featured in a series of 15 second commercial “films” entitled “Proving Grounds.” The theme of the spots emphasize that no matter what you’ve accomplished, no matter what is yet to come, everyone has their proving grounds. After becoming National League MVP and winning the Cubs their first World Series title in 107 years, a lot is expected of Kris in this upcoming season. Bryant shows in these ads that he is determined to prove that he isn’t finished quite yet.
The new adidas Athletics x Reigning Champ collection is available now on adidas.com, adidas stores and select Foot Locker stores in North America. The apparel ranges in price from $130 to $210 USD.

Looks like they rip Nike techknit with this.
I’d put money down that Techknit isn’t as dope as this Primeknit.
+1. Adidas is on fire right now.
They are both dope but that depends on the buyer on what he/she wants. On the other hand both brands are bringing it and that’s a win for the consumers.
i’ve wanted the reigning champ hoodie from last year (the chain-mail looking one that kyle lowry wore in the last campaign) for a long time now, but it’s just incredibly expensive, they never hit the discount racks here either…..this collection looks really cool, but i probably won’t have the heart to pay that much for a hoodie or a pair of sweatpants
