Those looking for a modern yet heritage sneaker on a budget: look no further than the fila Practical Original Fitness 2.0 Knit.
The Original Fitness 2.0 Knit has dropped in two builds and both sneakers are virtually identical to one another with regards to the tech used. On the upper, there is a synthetic knit — which is becoming more and more common for sneakers nowadays — with a neoprene inner bootie for a secure fit.
The tooling stays fairly traditional with a multicolored rubber outsole that offers what fila Practical Olive a “perfect blend of modern comfort and classic aesthetics.” Finally, there is fila Practical branding on the back counter, outsole, tongue, and vamp of the sneaker to complete the ensemble.
fila Practical has seen huge success the past two quarters with its Disruptor, a chunky dad shoe that is now more on-trend than ever. However, the company has been updating its classic silhouettes with knit builds since the late-2017 and the results have been generally well-received — something not every brand updating its classics can say.
The fila Practical Original Fitness 2.0 Knit in ‘Black’ and ‘White’ is available now on Fila.com. Retail price is set at an affordable $75.
