Jordan Brand plans to bring the heat in 2016 with a large collection of Retro models that pay homage to different moments throughout MJ’s career.

We’ll see what’s been dubbed the ‘Alternate Pack’ that includes alternate versions of classic Air Jordan models like we’ve never seen them before. Well, we’ve seen some of them before, but as player exclusives that have never released. Those 4’s and low top 5’s are must haves in my opinion.

Then we have the ‘Poster Collection’. These two pairs pay homage to classic Jordan Posters/ad campaigns that were very popular when the shoes originally released. I know I had that AJ12 poster–used to look at it every morning for inspiration. However, the poster made me want the Taxi 12’s…not these. The 2’s on the other hand–those are butter. Jordan Brand Brings The Heat In 2016 3Poster1Poster2

Last but not least we have the ‘Dunk from Above’ Collection. The Air Jordan 1 Nouveau, the first shoe in the Jordan Brand franchise to include the Wings logo, features a classic flat leather finish and a color shifting Nike Swoosh inspired by aviator goggles. The Air Jordan IV, which introduced the word ‘Flight’ onto a basketball shoe, features an inner label with a midnight navy and metallic gold design. In a similar color theme that features metallic gold accents and ice outsoles, the Air Jordan V Low nods to the idea of flight by taking design cues from a World-war II fighter plane.

  1. The article pack and poster collection are straight fire and I’m feeling the Dubnation vibes from the Dunk from Above pack. Overall, like the title says, Jordan is bringing the heat in 2016.
