With Air Max Day (3/26) approaching, Nike is set to release another Air Max 1 colorway in the ‘What The’ style, now dubbed ‘Master’.
The Nike Air Max 1 was originally created 30 years ago by Tinker Hatfield; it was technologically advanced with a simple and elegant design. This new Air Max 1 colorway is a departure from the original aesthetic as its highlight is the colorful mudguard, a composition of elements from classic Air Max releases: OG Red, Safari, Patta, and Viotech colorways.
This build uses a premium black leather upper with perforated panels along the toe, quarter, and collar. It sits atop a black PU midsole with a visible Max Air unit in the heel that is wrapped by a rubber waffle outsole.
The Nike Air Max 1 ‘Master’ will become available on Nike SNKRS at 10:00 AM ET for $130 on March 26.
What do you think of this Nike Air Max 1 colorway? Will you cop to rock or resell? Let us know what you think in the comments.
