The Nike Kyrie 5 ‘Blk Mgc’ has finally released and we have a review.
A slight price increase from last year, the new Nike Kyrie 5 retails for $130.
Forefoot Air Zoom Turbo feels nice under foot so far while the rear Phylon feels like Phylon. They run kind of small. I still went true to size, but wide footers will need to try them of prior to buying. They might not even work for some as you can only loosen up the Flytrap cover so much — making getting into the shoe a bit difficult.
Stay tuned for the performance review in a couple of weeks and if you were interested in grabbing a pair yourself they’re available now at Nike.com.
Flat laces kinda help the untying situation. Slip through the flytrap holes a bit more smoothly. I haven’t been a big fan of oval laces because orienting them isn’t as straightforward as flat laces.
On the note of “shoe of the year”, some people may be looking in the perspective of “shoe of the season” since releases are patterned around that schedule. So if the Kyrie 4 was well-praised 2017, and then the Why Not 0.1’s come in 2018 with high praise as well, some viewers might wonder what ends up higher on your broke.
so i rolled my ankle doing a crossover. Right now i have the Cali 2015 crazylight. what, preferably Cali, shoe would you recommend for ankle support.
Nightwing doesn’t lie: the traction has some kind of break in period, because on first wear this AM it was atrocious. Knowing Kyrie, that won’t be the case for long.
