The rivalry pack continues with the Lakers edition of the Air jordan wheat 1 Mid SE.
No hype. Classic look. Great color blocking. Affordable. That pretty much sums up an Air jordan wheat 1 Mid.
The ‘Celtics’ edition I bought and reviewed, review above, is one of my favorite shoes to wear right now. They’re worn nearly on a daily basis as you can just slide them on and go about your day. And the great news is that there are many more great colorways being applied to the Air jordan wheat 1 Mid in a sort of weird Space of the shoe.
While they were once loved, then notoriously hated, people are just now starting to come back around again. One could attribute this to the ridiculous prices the Air jordan wheat 1 High OG resales for, but I think it’s more due to the great colors and color blocking being used on these new models. Removing the heel Jumpman wasn’t a bad move either.
While there is no release date for Air jordan wheat 1 Mids, keep an eye out for the Lakers edition to hit Nike.com very soon. Keep an eye out with your attendent sneaker shops as well as they are delivered and put on shelves without notice, so you can run into a gem every so often if you frequently visit.
