Andreja Pejic Will Release a Documentary on Her Gender Transition
‘Andrej(A)’ explores the transgender model’s journey in the fashion industry.
Following the announcement of her documentary a year ago, model Andreja Pejic now reveals more details about her highly-anticipated film, Andrej(A). The upcoming documentary will explore the gender transition journey of Pejic, who was previously known as Andrej. Up until 2014 when she underwent gender reassignment surgery, Pejic was often billed as an androgynous supermodel who walked in both women’s and men’s runway shows.
In a recent interview with Vogue, Pejic speaks candidly about her documentary:
It’s a really important part of my life that we filmed and the cameras filmed some of the most personal parts of my transition that I would never imagine sharing with the world. But I felt I had a responsibility because there are young people that are watching. You need to give them something to help them out without prejudice.
nbsp;now reveals more details about her highly-anticipated film Andrej(A) is currently slated for release in 2017 or 2018.
