NikeLab GYAKUSOU's 2016 Holiday Collection Combines a Love for Running and Travel

Having last seen Nike and Jun Takahashi’s Rio Olympics-inspired collaborative collection, NikeLab GYAKUSOU now returns with its latest range inspired by the UNDERCOVER designer’s love for running. The latest offering emphasizes the strong relationship between running and travel, with all of the pieces constructed with ease of packing in mind. Takahashi’s passion for running is apparent in his thoughts on the new collection: “Running is my biggest source of creativity. It makes sense that I create apparel and footwear to support my running, which I dedicate time to everyday. I don’t know why, but I’ve always had a strong desire to express my feelings through apparel.”
Along with its sport-oriented design, the new program is also compatible with an array of weather conditions. Built with impeccable detailing and adjustability, the apparel is as diverse as it is compatible. As part of these bolstered designs is the brand new Quickburst Zipper, complemented by removable sleeves. Slits throughout the silhouettes also provide additional packability and convenience.
The new Holiday 2016 NikeLab GYAKUSOU collection will drop online and in-store at select NikeLab locations on November 10.
