Having dropped “November 9th” a month prior, Willow Smith presents a new three-track EP, Mellifluous. Mellifluous is defined as “sweet-sounding,” and each song is exactly that — her thick voice coats “Cave Wall,” “Little Shard” and “Need to Know” like honey. They’re “transcendental lullabies” with rich and mellow melodies and prove just how sonically mature the 16-year-old truly is.
