Opening Ceremony: The Year of China
The NYC retailer kicks off the Lunar New Year in style.
Coinciding with the start of the Lunar New Year, Opening Ceremony has just unveiled a Chinese focus for its annual country-specific motif. Kicking off the series is a capsule collection with Pearl River Mart, the famed Chinese department store located in NYC’s SoHo neighborhood. Throughout the year, Opening Ceremony will also be selling pieces from Sino-based brands such as Angel Chen, Ximon Lee, Huiman by Guong Zou and Decoster. This move is quite monumental as this collaboration will serve as the first time that these labels will sell outside of their home country.
