Your Friends Can't Lie About How Far Away They Are With Uber's Trip Tracker

We all have that friend who always says they’re five minutes away when in reality, it’s more like 30 — or perchance you’re that friend. Either way, Uber’s Trip Tracker will not only alert you when they’re en route but it’ll also show you their trip in real-time. The newly unveiled feature is apart of the Family Profiles program, which allows you to add other Uber users to your account in order to pay for their rides if necessary. Then, whenever those family members or friends request a ride, you’ll be able to follow their trip on the in-app map. Admittedly, it’s a bit creepy but no one will be able to lie about being late ever again. Find out more details about it over at TechCrunch.
