Although the standard schedule of spring/summer deliveries had fans anticipating a summer release of YEEZY Season 2, it has recently been announced that the new range will not be dropping in a conventional sense. In an email sent out by the brand’s new president, Pete Fox, he informs retailers that the Season 2 apparel lineup, “will not be produced in its entirety or launched following a traditional fashion calendar.” In line with YEEZY’s commitment to move towards a season-less model, the adidas affiliate label will be releasing certain pieces from the collection throughout the year. It should be noted, however, that Season 3 will not be affected by this change. The revision in the release is apparently related to efforts regarding improved production of deliveries with better quality for the best price points.
