Rihanna Rules the Post-Apocalyptic in 'W' Magazine
Bow down to the Bad Gal.
All hail Rihanna as she takes to her throne on the cover of W magazine’s September issue. Through creative and fashion director Edward Enninful and the lens of Steven Klein, the singer is reimagined as “the last woman on earth and the ruling warrior queen in a dark, dystopian future” — her longevity and survival skills rightfully crowning her the baddest b*tch of all time. The lo-fi feature sets the Bad Gal in a destructed society where she is boss, outfitted in looks designed custom just for her: the likes of Prada, Christian Dior, Hood by Air and others submitted their sketches fit for a queen.
Since “Pon de Replay,” Rihanna’s reign hasn’t let up An electrifying new rework the intergalactic via Star Trek, and now, the post-apocalyptic. She rules every world.
