2018 is the Year of The Dog, in terms of the Chinese zodiac, and in honor of this Nike is releasing an updated take on its YOTD sneaker from 20016.
The Air Force 1 Low “Year of The Dog” consists of the classic white silhouette which has been reimagined with a soft pony hair heel and features delicate illustrations throughout the upper, referencing the Tibetan mastiff dog breed. The graphics on the toe are inspired by those found inside temples and the fine-line details on the midfoot and lateral side are inspired by traditional Tibetan “Tangta” graphics that express good fortune. There’s no heels date as of yet, but the sneaker is rumored to drop in early 2018 – stay tuned for more info.
