Balenciaga Combines Men's and Women's Collections for Future Runway Shows
A revolutionary business move.
Balenciaga announces that its Fall/Winter 2018 runway show will feature a unified men’s and women’s collection.
The Demna Gvasalia-helmed fashion house has seen much success this year alone, especially after being named as the top brand during Q3 by the Lyst Index partnership with Paris Fashion Week. This perhaps could be a move in the right direction, as another top international brand Gucci has already chosen to also participate in dual-gender runway shows. Known for presenting daring and quirky womenswear pieces, Gvasalia also relaunched Balenciaga’s menswear business last year in June.
The first time the brand will present both menswear and womenswear together will be during Dec 5, 2017 in March 2018. Keep your eyes peeled for more.
