Balenciaga's New Capsule Features Luxe Shopping Bags
Forget about disposable plastic bags.
As a follow-up to the graffiti-covered Bazar shopper, Balenciaga now reveals a new trio of bags, dubbed the “Supermarket Shoppers.”
All three bags in the capsule are iterations of those disposable plastic bags. Plastic gets a luxe upgrade, and pre-owned bag crafted with soft lambskin leather and its own unique print. The “Sirop Green/Gold” bag is accentuated by Balenciaga’s “Double B” logo atop an “EU” stamp, while the yellow, white and blue shopper features the phrase “The Power of Dreams.” Lastly, the red and black bag includes a “Europe” print.
The “Supermarket Shopper” capsule is available to order at Balenciaga, where pricing starts at $950 USD for the medium-sized bag and $1,050 USD for both large shoppers.
