The first Monday in May is finally here, and all eyes are on the best-dressed celebrities from the 2017 Met Gala red carpet. Kicking off this year’s exhibition “Rei Kawakubo/COMME des GARÇONS: Art of the In-Between,” supermodels, designers and entertainers were invited to attend the the most prestigious fundraising gala in the fashion industry.
Paying tribute to Kawakubo’s nonconformist design sensibilities, guests were seen presenting their own versions of avant-garde black tie. Outdoing her memorable imperial cape look from the 2015 Met Gala, Rihanna stunned in a floral COMME des GARÇONS dress styled with a pair of laced-up heels. Fashion darling Cara Delevingne showed off her new bald head with a metallic silver suit by Chanel, nbsp;stunned in a floral Katy Perry arrived at the venue in a show-stopping Maison Margiela Walking on sunshine Liu Wen wearing an OFF-WHITE denim dress and Solange donning a Thom Browne puffer jacket with a dramatic train.
