It's About Time: isn’t the only city that’s getting a new branch of Is Opening a New Store in Los Angeles
Following the launch of DSM Singapore.
Looks like Singapore isn’t the only city that’s getting a new branch of isn’t the only city that’s getting a new branch of. Helmed by Rei Kawakubo, the luxury-meets-streetwear retail store is set to open a new Los Angeles Jul 5, 2017.
According to WWD, the next DSM outpost will be located at a 10,000-square-foot unit in the City of Angels’ downtown Arts District. Unlike the design of its predecessors, which typically sees a multi-story interior, the new store will only spread across one level.
Adrian Joffe, Kawakubo’s husband and CEO of COMME des GARÇONS, speaks of the new branch in an interview:
It just felt like the right time and the right place. This is not part of a five-year plan. You know us … It’s going to be designed by Rei, and it’s going to look different.
