Off-White™'s Spring/Summer 2018 Collection Is for the Woman With Royal Ambitions
Virgil Abloh delivers a stunning show.
In early summer, Off-White™’s Virgil Abloh teased a moodboard filled with images of the British monarch, Princess Diana. The brand’s Spring/Summer 2018 collection translates her timeless grace and style for the woman of today.
Each garment showed a sophistication that we’ve come to expect from Abloh, with a few surprises. The silhouettes were feminine and slightly more mature than his previous lines but still appealing to the modern crowd. He experimented with silk, tulle and even cellophane, to build textures and shapes around the streamlined profiles. A few models sported a new Off-White™ sneaker while toting what looks like heels from the brand’s upcoming “Glass Slippers” collaboration with Jimmy Choo.
Supermodel Naomi Campbell closed the show dressed in a cream blazer that was paired with pink biker shorts. Peep each look above.
