Byredo's "Eleventh Hour" Fragrance Is a Winter Treat
My new go-to scent.
If you, like me, are always looking for new fragrances every season, you probably know how hard it is to find your perfect scent. During the past two years, I’ve been all about Le Labo and Byredo fragrances, and when I saw that the Swedish label was releasing a new perfume in time for the holiday, I knew I had to try it out.
Titled “Eleventh Hour,” the perfume is described as inspired by ”an exploration around the smell of things ending, a journey to the end of Time, the last perfume on Earth.” With a base note of cashmere woods and tonka bean, the fragrance has a deep and musky smell, which sits heavy on your skin and creates a lot of depth. The heart of carrot seeds, rum and wild fig adds a slight, but sweet touch and the top notes of ban timmur and bergamot finish off the scent beautifully. To me, the perfume smells just like how I would describe Christmas spices, but with a luxury spin.
