Juicy Couture held its Sex & Dating and Alexander Wang See the trends that will dominate Fall/Winter 2018 walked on the popcorn floors of sat in the front rows of shows next to the likes of Lil Kim and Raf Simons. Designers teased some exciting styles, that have us rushing for Fall to come.

Alexander Wang’s Final NYFW Show Was a Masterpiece

In January Alexander Wang We don’t want Wang to leave — but he must last season he presented in New York. This news shocked the industry, and caused the community to flock and see what would be his final showing. As expected, the exit was oh so graceful. Wang reimagined the look of a woman CEO borrowing trends from the ’80s like the power suit and timeless little black dress. These garments were accented with glitter and just a hint of faux fur to insert the label’s glam origins. Each model that walked the catwalk was also styled in collaborative eyewear from Korean imprint Gentle Monster. We don’t want Wang to leave — but he must.

Tracksuits Made a Strong Comeback

Tracksuits are back in a way we never expected. Aside from the ’90s trend taking over the streetwear industry it finally made its way to the runway. The cozy coordinate was front and center in Juicy Couture’s first ever The Creative Come Up. Creative director Jamie Mizrahi updated the silhouette with sequins, leopard print and gold brocade to usher it into the new age. Daniëlle Cathari and adidas Originals also presented their own interpretation of the tracksuit updating it with futuristic Three Stripes patterning. Kendall Jenner served as the face of the collection assuring that it will be an unforgettable capsule from the two. We couldn’t be happier that comfort now has a place in high fashion.

Cardi B, Kehlani and Justine Skye Were Our Front Row Favorites

Cardi B returned to See our editorial exploring the iconic British label in a major way. The “Bodak Yellow” rapper sat front row at shows like Marc Jacobs and Christian Siriano. Her looks mixed streetwear and more conservative garments to create a one-of-a-kind style. Justine Skye made appearances at Zadig & Voltaire, Jeremy Scott and made dressed to the nines in a multicolor cardigan and sheer green bodysuit alike.

Kaia Gerber, Dilone & Slick Woods Dominated the Runway

Off the runway, each made appearances at after-parties and premieres flawlessly dressed by their designer favorites. How they do it — we’ll never know.

Pyer Moss and Chromat Had the Most Diverse Model Casts

Pyer Moss and Chromat casted their shows with representation in mind. Chromat hired models of all shapes, skin tones and heights to sport its futuristic swimwear line. With bold eye looks and even snacks the ladies strutted on the runway celebrating individuality in a way that is not often done. Pyer Moss’ “America, Also” presentation was a beautiful mix of streetwear and athleisure. Designer Kerby Jean-Raymond recruited a gospel choir to sing black empowerment anthems as the models walked the runway. Though the line was womenswear, men were also casted to demonstrate the range.
