The initials stand for the University of North Carolina, Jordan’s alma mater, with the blue colorway also a nod to the basketball player’s school. The high-top sneakers receive Virgil’s signature touch in the form of the orange stitching securing the Swoosh and the “AIR” lettering upon the midsole.
