HAI SWIM Presents Its Sleek FW18 "TIME SERIES" Collection

Filled with well-cut separates and essentials.

HAI Swim, the emerging brand based in Los Angeles was originally on our radar back in March after it dropped its The Disruptor, Mindblower and OG Fitness get a makeover. The line’s first drop featured an assortment of intrinsically on-trend separates including sleek swim tops and matching high-rise bottoms. After the first capsule designer Marcelle Barbosa is now shifting its focus to clothing with the release of its FW18 “TIME SERIES” collection lookbook.

For its FW18 collection, the brand showcases its first complete ready-to-wear line of street-inspired pieces. The range explores the juxtaposition of fashion and time. “TIME SERIES” ultimately looks to highlight art by presenting re-done, tapered and relaxed-fit denim. Additionally, an emphasis is placed on bold, innovative tailoring. The garments also further push forward a message of eccentricity through the reconfiguration of fabrics, metals, raw paints and printed digital images. A significant design cue on each piece is the label which comes imprinted with its own unique timestamp. Each stamps point to the exact time the piece became an idea.

HAI Swim’s FW18 “TIME SERIES” collection will be available in the fall. Stay tuned for an official drop date. In the meantime, if you’re looking to purchase the line’s SS18 collection, head to HAI Swim’s webstore.
