Kylie Jenner Discusses Her $900 Million USD Fortune in This 'Forbes' Interview
She lands the cover of the “America’s Women Billionaires” issue.
It’s been a big week for Kylie Jenner – between revealing she’s Jul 11, 2018 Take a look at Kylie Jenner’s summer makeup collection, the young mother has been keeping busy on social media and beyond. Now the youngest member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan has bagged the cover of Forbes magazine’s “America’s Women Billionaires” issue, which claims that Jenner is “on track to become the youngest self-made billionaire ever.”
In her interview with the magazine, the 20-year-old opens up about how she’s amassed her whopping $900 million USD fortune in just three short years. She launched her company, Kylie Cosmetics, just two years ago starting out with those signature lip kits but soon expanding into other beauty essentials and Forbes now estimates that Kylie Cosmetics is worth around $800 million USD. Alongside this, she’s nabbed numerous lucrative endorsement deals with the likes of PUMA, putting her estimated financial value at an incredible $900 million USD – which makes her the youngest person on the magazine’s fourth annual ranking of the richest self-made women in America. More than this, if Jenner’s business and income continues to grow at the expected rate, she’s slated to surpass Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg as the youngest ever self-made billionaire.
A lot of Jenner’s success has come down to both her social media following and her almost innate ability to really capture and capitalize on that market. ”Social media is an amazing platform. I have such easy access to my fans and my customers,” she states in the interview. She also claims that she wants to continue building the business she’s created for herself “forever”, before adding “Maybe one day [I'll] pass this on to Stormi, if she’s into it.”
