Burberry
Perhaps the most talked about show of the week, Riccardo Tisci’s debut collection for Burberry, played on everything from the house’s strong British heritage, to London’s well-known punk culture. From elevated trench coats to the label’s newly debuted monogram print, the presentation saw both men’s and women’s wear and was able for show-goers to purchase immediately after the show. The new format has been implemented by Tisci, who is following a new “drops” method for the luxury label.
Christopher Kane
Christopher Kane’s Spring/Summer 2019 range was a love-letter to lace. From geometric blazers covered in the elegant fabric, to shoes, thongs and everything in-between – the designer proved that he’s as creative as ever. As Vogue stated, the designer’s inspiration for the show was “David Attenborough’s films on the mating behaviors of wildlife, and Marilyn Monroe.” Mixing silhouettes and textures created an eye-catching, yet muted collection in true Christopher Kane fashion.
Erdem
If two words could describe the Erdem show, it would be floral fantasy. The label is known for its beautiful pattern making and exquisite tailoring, and brought no less than that to the LFW runway. From bright blue and yellow graphics, to muted prints in chiffon and organza, the collection was a balance between elegance and the modern-day woman. The range also showcased a selection of figure-fitting suits for all occasions, as well as bold headwear to tie it all together.

Simone Rocha took inspiration from her heritage for her show, exploring her Chinese side as well as ancient dynasties. Big and bulky silhouettes came down the runway, styled with stand-out veils and bright head-pieces, as well as a beautiful selection of floral embroidery and patterns. “I was thinking about portraits of concubines from the Tang dynasty in the 16th century. I found a copy of one in a market in Hong Kong. We started playing with imitating the imitations,” the designer told Vogue, referring to the eastern influences that followed through the whole collection.
Victoria Beckham
Celebrating her 10th anniversary, Victoria Beckham debuted crisp and tailored silhouettes, following her signature minimalist aesthetic with a fun twist. Utilizing bold colors, the range was a balance of feminine dresses as well as masculine suits, for the powerful, working woman. By mixing and matching silhouettes, the collection was as Victoria Beckham as one would expect. Knits, blazers, trousers and more – the collection had everything we’d expect and more.

J.W Anderson tapped into textures and patch-making for his Burberry джинсовая юбка show, with models wearing layered outfits that were carefully thought out from top-to-toe. We saw puffy sleeves, intricate knits, bold patterns and a wide selection of colors throughout the presentation, with models sporting new bags as well as sleek shoes from the new collection. As for accessories, each model wore a swim-cap-inspired headpiece with gold hardware at front, putting a twist to the already impressive collection.
Molly Goddard
Molly Goddard also focused on summery florals in her collection, debuting a selection of vibrant and flowy dresses that we’re drooling over for the Spring/Summer 2019 season. From playful printed T-shirts, to elegant dresses as well as intricate designs featuring layered ruffles and exaggerated silhouettes.
