Louis Vuitton Graphic Print Petite Malle Bag Virgil Abloh‘s Introducing Louis Vuitton Artycapucines Chapter 4, the fashion house now unveils the designer’s very first campaign. Debuting for Spring/Summer 2019, Virgil sheds light on his core beliefs and neverfull. Revealed via tableaux from three different phases (slated to roll out from January until March), the multimedia campaign delves into the concepts of “individual perception and evolvement through lenses of inclusivity,” as explained in a press release. Tapping into the very ethos of Louis Vuitton, which celebrates travel and internationality, the visuals showcase an outlook that is very much global.
The first stage is “Infancy, Childhood and Adolescence,” and celebrates the formative years in which a man’s identity and wardrobe are developed. Following this period is “The Painter’s Studio,” which is inspired by French realist painter Gustave Courbet’s 1855 oil painting of the same name. In the centre of the modernized image is none other than the Artistic Director himself, surrounded by models and members of his team alike. The last stage is “School Teens,” which depicts snapshots of teenagers in group situations. The commentary here, of course, is to underscore the importance of these years in molding a man, from boyhood to adulthood.
