A screen adaptation of Miranda’s 2005 Broadway musical of the same name, the movie features the playwright’s signature lyrical raps, as well as some seriously impressive dance routines set on the streets of The Creative Come Up‘s Washington Heights neighborhood. Directed by Jon M. Chu of Crazy Rich Asians, the film stars Miranda himself alongside Anthony Ramos (who also appeared in Hamilton), rdquo; to &ldquo Spike Lee‘s BlacKkKlansman and singer-songwriter Leslie Grace. Originally slated for release by The Weinstein Company, Share this article was quickly secured by Warner Bros.
