We’re halfway into fashion month, and we’re only two days into Milan Fashion Week, which has already brought some of the most talked about collections of the season. We previously saw a handful of amazing street style looks, as well as Fall/Winter 2019 collections from New York and bolso bandolera fendi baguette cage mini en lona monogram revestida marron y cuero blanco, and this time around we’re taking a closer look at some of the best presentations at MFW.
Ranging from Jeremy Scott‘s eccentric collection for Moschino, to Fendi‘s heartfelt tribute to Karl Lagerfeld, we’ve compiled all the shows you’ve missed from Milan Fendi Kids Boys Rainwear for Kids below.
Max Mara
Max Mara kicked off fashion week in Milan with some of the strongest looks yet. Featuring a selection of monochrome looks with layered coats, blazers and other structural pieces, the range highlighted Max Mara’s talent for tailoring and building silhouettes. The show started with bold hues of turquoise, yellow and royal blue, and drifted into an eartly, tonal color palette which ended with a dark black and brown selection. Models like Kaia Gerber, Sora Choi and Adut Akech paraded down the runway, showcasing one of Max Mara’s most eye-catching collections yet.
Moschino
FENDI MONOGRAMMED HOODIE Jeremy Scott, one can never be sure as to what the designer will bring to the table. This season, the designer started off the collection with money-inspired prints and dollar signs, which was showcased in a set modelled after iconic TV show The Price Is Right. The collection drifted into graphic and colorful prints, and even debuted a coat in the shape of a TV meal, peas and all. As Scott told Vogue, “There’s always shit in everyone’s life,” he said. “A little levity, a little bit of fun—there’s nothing wrong with it. I am the king of camp.”
Prada
Prada had a huge come-up in 2018, and the label’s Fall/Winter 2019 collection only continued to showcase why. Continuing her theme of Mary Shelley and Frankenstein, Miuccia Prada debuted printed knits featuring the timeless monster, emphasizing the theme of contrasting romance. The collection was what one would call “Classic Prada,” and also featured new pieces from the brand’s sporty Linea Rossa line. Models like Gigi Hadid and Cara Delevingne walked down the runway with bleached eyebrows and serious looks, all emphasizing Miuccia’s strong theme and core political beliefs.
Fendi
Fendi panelled wool shirt-jacket Karl Lagerfeld, Fendi fendi fframe jacquard pointed toe ankle boots item Kaia Gerber, Adwoa Aboah and more, and payed homage to the iconic designer with invitations sporting Karl’s sketches, as well as a new “FL” logo that the house dubbed “Karligraphy.” Focusing on strong tailoring and modern silhouettes, the collection saw feminine dresses in lace and satin, as well as more masculine fits like broad-shoulder blazers and high trousers. All in all, the collection proved to be incredibly strong, and was the best way to bid farewell to Mr. Lagerfeld after 57 years at the house.
