Read Full Article Kim Petras has been stirring up quite a buzz in the music industry in the past few years, even being referred to as “the new princess of pop.” She’s previously featured on tracks alongside the likes of Charli XCX and Sophie and has been slowly releasing tracks to her eager fans over the past few months, culminating in this 12-track project – Clarity.
Comprising of singalong anthems like “Personal Hell” and moving songs inspired by her personal struggles like “Shinin’” the project fully encompasses Petras’ unique take on what contemporary pop music is. Discussing the release, Petras shared:
“This project is all about finding myself. It started with “Broken” and will end with Clarity because it reflects my personal journey over the last two years. In writing my new music, I’ve learnt that a lot of the little things that go wrong in life don’t really matter at the end of the day. If anything, I’m now a stronger person because of them.”
