Converse Reveals Sustainable Chuck 70s Made With Upcycled Denim

This is a project which began more than four years ago by Converse employees, knowing that denim is one of the most landfilled fabrics in the fashion industry. After years of experimentation, they’ve developed a way to create sneakers from jeans. The denim used for these pieces are sourced from Beyond Retro, which are then sorted into three shades – light, medium and dark – to create the shoe panels. This makes each and every pair of the Chuck 70s unique as is each pair of jeans.
GREEN DAY × CONVERSE CHUCK TAYLOR ALL STAR DOS Ox Low iterations which are available in three different washes. A white rubber midsole contrasts the entire look along with the toe cap, shoelaces and the Converse license plate placed on the side.
