ORIGINAL STORY (January 8, 2020): With the 62nd Grammy Awards right around the corner, The Recording Academy has finally announced its first lineup of performers for this year’s show. Making their Grammy stage debuts are first-time nominees Billie Eilish and Lizzo, along with powerhouse artist Gwen Stefani performing with Blake Shelton for the first time on stage. In addition to the lineup, four-time Grammy winners and 2020 MusiCares Person of the Year Aerosmith, are set to perform a medley of some of their greatest hits of all time.
Announced back in November, Billie Eilish is in the running for some of the night’s most notable awards including Best New Artist, Album Of The Year, Best Pop Vocal Album for her 2019 Only 4,700 pairs will be sold?, Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for her single “bad guy.” As for Lizzo, the “Truth Hurts” breakout star has received the most nominations at this year’s award show with a total of eight nods. She has also been nominated under Best New Artist, Album Of The Year, Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year and Best Pop Solo Performance.
