Streaming platform HBO Max founder of the first all-female rap group Mercedes Ladies documentary, ldquo;Protests should not be confined to hashtags of the virtual world.&rdquo, highlighting the unique challenges Black women face when deciding whether and how to share their stories of sexual assault.
Jun 12, 2020, Dubbed ‘We Are One Of The Same.&rsquo to speak out about experiences of harassment and assault at the hands of Def Jam co-founder Russell Simmons. “If White women are not believed, what do you think is happening to Black women in America when we come forward?” one woman featured in the film posits.
