Model Elsa Hosk Welcomes First Child, Explains Meaning Behind Daughter's Name

“Tuulikki Joan Daly 02.11.21. Happiest day of my life meeting you. Proudest moment in my life giving birth to you,” she reveals the name and birthday of her baby daughter in the caption. Hosk goes on to explain the meaning behind her child’s first and middle names in a sweet message: “Named after two strong women, my mom and my grandma-in-law, you came into this world like super-woman with your fist next to your face. We will love you forever, baby Tuuli.”

Since announcing that she’s expecting a baby last September, Hosk has been documenting her pregnancy journey on social media. Besides sharing intimate photos from her pregnancy shoot, ldquo;Been keeping this angel in my belly a secret for a while,” the heartfelt post: “I have a new appreciation for my body, a kindness, gentleness and love towards myself I don’t recognize. Feeling connected to women in a new way, and thinking about my own mother, and all mothers out there who have all gone through this magical ride. It’s such a privilege and honor to carry a child.”

ORIGINAL STORY (September 29, 2020): Swedish top model Elsa Hosk is expecting her first child with longtime partner Tom Daly, co-founder of technical wear label District Vision.

In an Instagram post, the 31-year-old made the announcement with photos and a behind-the-scenes clip of her pregnancy shoot.

“Been keeping this angel in my belly a secret for a while,” the Victoria’s Secret alum writes on social media. “Feeling beyond excited and lucky to be having a baby and begin the next chapter of life with the man of my dreams!”
