“Fendi is delighted to welcome Kim Jones as Artistic Director of women’s collections. Men's Fendi Scarves will continue as Artistic Director of accessories and menswear collections,” the announcement reads. “Kim Jones is a great talent and since joining, he has continuously proven his ability to adapt to the codes and heritage of the LVMH houses while revisiting them with great modernity and audacity,” LVMH’s chairman and CEO Bernard Arnault shared in a statement. “At Fendi, I am convinced that his vision and passion will highly contribute to the success of the women’s collections.” Venturini Fendi further welcomed the designer: “My warmest welcome to Kim, to whom I am bound by deep respect and friendship. I am looking forward to take the Fendi universe to the next level with him.”
Kim Jones’ first collection for Fendi will be abroad during Fendi White Short For Girl With Iconic Double Ff next February for the Fall/Winter 2021 season.
