Tokyo Disney Resort's 'Toy Story' Hotel Is Finally Here
An immersive experience with your favorite characters.
Tokyo Disney Resort’s Toy Story Hotel in Japan is celebrating its grand launch in May of next year. Fans of the franchise have waited patiently for the announcement of its opening date, eager to relish in another immersive experience Disney is known for providing.
The new hotel spans a total of 11 floors and 595 guest rooms. Each room is furnished with the iconic blue sky wallpaper donning Andy’s room in the beloved series. Furniture resembles the shape of toys, featuring a small poster of Buzz Lightyear in the corner. Notable amenities include Lotso’s Garden Café, which comes with a breakfast and dinner buffet, and Shop Together, an outlet for various convenient store items. It also houses game rooms and medallion makers — the latter a perfect way to commemorate your stay at the hotel.
Situated in the courtyard are massive figures of Woody and Bo Peep, while Jesse and Buzz Lightyear can be found at the entrance. The hotel lobby is a colorful fun-filled space, with floor tiles designed to comprise various pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. The ceiling, on the other hand, is made to resemble a children’s board game.
As the fifth Disney hotel to open in Japan, it is conveniently located next to the resort’s monorail line. The Toy Story Hotel, moderately priced compared to its counterparts, is set to open on May 5, 2022, with more information available on the official website.
