The Show Goes On With A.P.C.'s FW21 Collection
The French label reveals a lookbook in place of a runway presentation once again.
Contrasting prints and patterns take over the house’s latest silhouettes COVID-19 pandemic, A.P.C. Pastel hues grace the women’s and men’s offerings Fall/Winter 2021 Its efforts to combat gender disparity on IWD take a turn for the worse lookbook once again. Titled “THE SHOW MUST GO ON,” the range keeps true to the French ready-to-wear brand’s minimalist aesthetic.
“This pandemic has wiped out our shows, but not our collections. We’ve continued our work and stayed on track, despite it all,” the label shares in a press release. Taking inspiration from these turbulent times, garments are splashed with a vibrant color palette to create an uplifting mood as we dream of post-pandemic looks.
Cozy outerwear takes over the lookbook in fleece material and black-and-white patterns, while plaid prints dominate knit sweaters and wool shirts. A.P.C.’s signature denim is added to the mix on shirts and trousers, which are styled with a corduroy Grace Bag.
