AURALEE x Tokyo Design Studio New Balance Rework the R_C2 Silhouette

Now, the Japanese fashion label is set to release another rework of one of the sportswear brand’s shoes: the R_C2.
First revealed on AURALEE’s Spring/Summer 2021 runway show, the silhouette arrives in two colorways such as nude pink and brown-black. The upper of both iterations are crafted from a blend of suede and mesh material, giving it an overall premium look. Elsewhere, the shoes come with GORE-TEX lining and slip-resistant outsoles. Inspired by AURALEE’s SS21 designs, the kicks reflect the collection’s pale tailoring, neutral knitwear and dark-toned outerwear.
AURALEE x Tokyo Design Studio New Balance’s R_C2 will be available on March 19 in Japan via AURALEE and New Balance Japan’s websites, as well as New Balance’s Roppongi outpost and T-HOUSE store.
