While the announcement has been made by the EU, it will ultimately be up to each member state on when and to whom it will decide to reopen its borders. The 27 nations can choose whether to lift quarantine restrictions or test those visiting from overseas. Children below the vaccination age group can travel with their family as long as they provide a negative test result within 72 hours before arrival.
