Marc Jacobs' FW21 Collection is the Definition of Post-Pandemic Cool

Marc Jacobs has returned to the runway Сумка женская marc jacobs small camera bag green brown Fall/Winter 2020 The Marc Jacobs Kids embroidered bunny skinny jeans pandemic hit the world. Held inside the New York Public Library, the collection marked the beginning of an exciting post-lockdown era for the designer.

“Our decision to pause allowed us to slow down, reflect, ruminate, reevaluate, grieve and take a thorough inventory of what works, what doesn’t work, what we love, what we are willing to let go of and what has value, importance and meaning,” the creative shared on Instagram. The in-person presentation opened with Marc Jacobs’ logo printed repeatedly across a bulky jacket, skirt and tights set paired with extra-high platform shoes. The blown-up text was spotted on more garments and accessories such as beanies, trousers and coats, expressing our anticipation and hope for COVID-free days. Oversized silhouettes created using puffer boleros and hooded jackets took center stage in contrasting color themes ranging from neon green and pink, to tan beige and gray.

The designer proved that tonal outfits are the main keyword this season, as seen through a head-to-toe number in light brown with accents of orange on the sleeves and collar. Vibrant prints further emerged on oversized outerwear, completing dynamic looks featuring soft knit sweaters. Large holographic sequins took over dresses and skirts for detracted contrast.
