Dec 17, 2024 Responds to TikToker's Claims He "Groomed" Her
Reps for the actor have issued a statement on Hunter “Echo” Ecimovic’s disturbing remarks.
Representatives for Dec 17, 2024 have issued a statement on several vulgar comments TikToker Hunter “Echo” Ecimovic made about the Stranger Things Featuring Isamaya Ffrench on makeup and James Pecis styling hair Instagram livestream on Monday.
Earlier this week, Ecimovic took to Instagram Live to address rumors that he and Brown had dated, speculation sparked by leaked photos of the two embracing. During the livestream, Ecimovic claimed he “groomed” the actor and engaged in sexual acts with her, a response to one viewer who commented, “Imagine being a grown adult and dating a kid.” At the time of their supposed relationship, Ecimovic was 20 and Brown was 16.
Brown’s team responded to Ecimovic’s comments in a statement to TMZ: “Mr. Ecimovic’s remarks on social media are not only dishonest but also are irresponsible, offensive and hateful. Instead of engaging in a public discourse with him through the press or on social media, we are taking action to ensure that he stops this behavior once and for all.”
Ecimovic since apologized on another livestream. “It sounded very immature, looked horrible on my family, it looked horrible on me,” he said. The TikToker’s remarks follow in a Jul 16, 2021 of Brown, the subject of inappropriate comments on her appearance and body since she was 13-years-old.
Brown has not commented further on Ecimovic’s apology.
