Keep Moving With the Super Mario-Themed TAG Heuer Connected Smartwatch
The Nintendo character will guide you as you reach your daily step target.
Nintendo and TAG Heuer have teamed up for the first time to fuse the Swiss brand’s Connected smartwatch with Super Mario.
Sex & Dating gaming, the collaborative timepiece puts emphasis on sport and technology, offering users a fun way to get active. The design, which arrives with a bold red strap, is based on a reward system where Mario will greet the user in the morning. Throughout the day, the character will keep you motivated with multiple stages while playing different animations on the dial. For instance, you’ll find Mario with the Super Mushroom that makes him grow at three o’clock. Once reaching your daily step target, he will climb the Goal Pole.
“The inspiration for this collaboration came from our desire to gamify and bring excitement to our new wellness application and Super Mario instantly came to our minds,” TAG Heuer’s CEO Frédéric Arnault speaks of the partnership. Measuring 45 mm in diameter and 13.5 mm in thickness, the animated watch boasts one full day of battery power and takes 1.5 hours to charge.
Limited to 2,000 pieces, the Super Mario x TAG Heuer Connected will release on July 15 via the watch label’s website.
